[Herston, 17/10/2016] – As one of Brisbane’s busiest venues, Victoria Park offers themed function rooms to house an extensive range of events.

Currently, they are celebrating 85 years in the business. From three employees, they now have 150 casual and full-time staff to serve guests.

The Perfect Place for Galas and Large Conferences

Built to host various gatherings, these individually designed rooms can cater to groups of 10 to more than 1,000. Another advantage of celebrating at Victoria Park is that they offer free parking to their guests.

The Marquee is the largest and the most versatile venue for corporate functions. It can house up to 1,000 guests cocktail style and has a 400-person seating capacity. Next to its size is the Ballroom and Marble Bar, which is popular for its Victorian charm. It seats up to 200 guests or 700 cocktail style.

For an open space with tons of natural light, the Garden Marquee offers leafy views with the golf course in sight. This venue seats up to 90 guests or 180 cocktail style. The Quartz room offers a bit more privacy and is appropriate for intimate gatherings. It accommodates 60 guests when seated and 100 for cocktail style.

The Alabaster features a private bar, guest lounge and an outdoor terrace. This seats at least 90 guests or 150 cocktail style. For an ‘Urban Tropicana’ feel, guests may celebrate at the Orchard – Victoria Park’s newest function space.

The Driving Lounge, which has a cocktail style capacity of 30 guests, is located at the Driving Range on the eastern end of Victoria Park. The Putting Lounge, on the other hand, is ideal for 70 guests and gives them access to the Putt Putt course.

Events at Victoria Park

Apart from guests renting out their function rooms for their own celebrations, they can also enjoy the various events Victoria Park has to offer. These give guests more reasons to visit.

Currently, they are sponsoring the Melbourne Cup Lunch. This annual gala treats guests to the ultimate luncheon, which consists of a delicious cocktail upon their arrival, followed by a four-course meal. This event also entitles guests to a four-hour beverage package while they enjoy live music – giving them the opportunity to celebrate in style.
