Phoenix Dental Implant and Invisalign Centre proudly announces its participation in the Canadian Dental Care Plan (CDCP), a transformative government initiative aimed at making dental care accessible and affordable for Canadians.
The CDCP is available to households with an annual net income of less than $90,000 who do not have private dental insurance. It provides comprehensive coverage for essential dental services, such as preventive care, fillings, extractions, and X-rays, based on a tiered structure. Coverage ranges from 40% to 100%, depending on income levels.
“At Phoenix Dental, we are dedicated to improving oral health for all,” said Vancouver CDCP dentist. “Accepting the CDCP is an important step in ensuring everyone in our community can access the quality dental care they deserve.”
The program, which began in 2023, is being rolled out in phases. Seniors aged 65 and older are already eligible, and children under 18 and individuals with disabilities will be able to apply in June 2024. All remaining eligible Canadians can apply starting in 2025.
Phoenix Dental will honor the CDCP fee guide for preventive treatments, including cleanings, examinations, and fillings. For advanced procedures like crowns and dentures, patients will only pay the difference between CDCP and provincial fee guidelines.
