My niece was born recently and both her mom and I were spoilt for choice when we wanted to buy baby stuff for the little new born. The first thing we wanted to buy was a bandana bibs and dear o dear the bibs were so stylish we couldn't help but buy quite a few so that we could stock them up because we are going to need a few till she is at least two years old. Some designs looked so fashionable and may be they were that way so that the baby's mother could mix and match her scarf with the bib that the baby was wearing. Moving on to which material you should go for when choosing a bib. I strongly suggest two different materials for the front and the back.

The front should be the absorbent material that towels are made of for example cotton or cotton polyester and the back should be made of some water resistant material so that no matter what falls on the towel side the back remains dry. This dry feel on the back side matters because it ensures that you don't have to change the baby’s clothes many times during the day and more importantly kids feel happier when they are dry. I cannot emphasize enough on how these bandana styled bibs makes my little niece look so stylish as if she is already the age when she can be called pretty but she really is.

The next thing on our buying list was a pacifier clip. They're actually quite important because I really wonder how moms made sure the pacifiers remain clean before someone thought of pacifier clips. Make sure they are not made of metal or the baby could scratch and hurt her or himself. Needless to say the available designs were great.

Now was the turn to buy something for the baby's mom. Ok basically we have a huge family with lot of meeting in groups and it gets embarrassing as hell when she has to breastfeed and the old aunties do not think it's a big deal if she breastfeeds with them around. So my sis in law bought a multi use cover. It can be used for a 360 degree cover when breast feeding and as the sun protection for the kids car seat. The material is breathable a stretchable and the perfect material for a cover.
