The durability of fertigparkett aus bambus is particularly high as they are made entirely of solid wood. Therefore, unlike some precast products, they can often be refurbished. The appealing wide plank size and the mixed lengths create a visually large plank floor. The ecological advantage is that, by using many lengths, almost all raw boards can be processed in parquet production.

Compared with solid wood flooring to plank flooring, which gives a similar visual appearance, the following should be noted:
• Solid wood flooring is consistently made of the desired wood. Plank floors are, especially with floating installation a little more difficult to renovate. Therefore, we recommend gluing over the entire surface.
• Massivholzdielen are nailed or glued over the entire surface, planks are floating that is laid loosely on the floor, or glued over the entire surface. For full-surface bonding or nailing, subsequent renovation can be carried out much more easily and, if sanding, with lower wear losses. For partially problematic renovation of floating floors, and why, if possible, should be glued over the entire surface, we will explain you in detail in a personal consultation in our showrooms.
• With massivholzdielen is to be expected with greater jointing than planks as the dimensional stability is increased by the multilayer gluing of planks. Solid wood planks are even longer lasting than planks (depending on the wear layer thickness) as they can be renovated several times.
• Plank flooring is difficult to renovate with lower wear layer thicknesses (less than 3.5 mm) and especially with floating installation, and above all not often. You can also get landhausdielen in your home like solid wood planks.
• In accordance with appropriate conditions, we recommend the processing of solid wood flooring; it is solid wood, without ifs and buts. Plank flooring is recommended if, for example. Very wide boards should be used (over 160mm). This is only possible with glued boards. Solid boards tend to twist too much for larger widths. The simple processing of planks, if you want to lay it yourself, is an advantage of this product.
• When using solid wood flooring, it is important to bring along a certain amount of joint formation and thus love and understanding of the material wood. As with all parquet products, it is particularly important for solid wood planks to ensure compliance with the corresponding room humidity.
• Products made of solid wood throughout (solid wood flooring, belt parquet, strip parquet, industrial parquet) have a greater joint formation in dry conditions than multi-layered products with a lower wear layer (hotline, hotline grand, engineered parquet, plank flooring).
