[b]Choudhry Muzaffar[/b] has more than 15 years of experience in the real estate industry. He has worked on the sell side, buy side, and development side of real estate for JLL, Dar Al Tanmiyat, and Cumming Construction Management Company. He is the former director of Cumming Construction Management, a global cost and project management firm with 24 offices in the US and four international offshore offices. Choudhry was hired to develop and pursue business opportunities for a new office in Chicago, IL.

[b]Choudhry Muzaffar[/b] was responsible for setting up introductory meetings with Chicago’s 10 largest architectural firms; the top 3 engineering firms, and local and regional developers to introduce the new Chicago office. He pitched service line offerings including cost estimating, project management, and third party lender services. He also developed target lists pursuits within the Hospitality, Education, Healthcare, and Commercial Development sectors. He generated a pipeline of $300k in fee revenue within the first four months of his hiring.

Currently, [b]Choudhry Muzaffar[/b] is serving as the Managing Director of The Uptown Group, a real estate advisory practice in Chicago that he founded in 2015.

[b]Choudhry Muzaffar[/b] has more than 15 years of experience within business and global real estate markets. He is the founder and the managing director of The Uptown Group. Over the course of his career he worked on the sell side, buy side, and the development side of real estate. Choudhry specializes in development advisory, transactional due diligence, asset management, valuation advisory, value creation, and operator selection & negotiations. He is an alumnus of the University of Illinois at Urbana college of LAS majoring in Economics (2000), a licensed broker in the State of IL, and a member of ULI and the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors. He is married to Sana Muzaffar and is a proud father of four. During his free time, Choudhry enjoys reading about different subject matters and participating in and coaching basketball.
