One of the most challenging aspects of training your dog, regardless of its size, age or breed is finding the time to dedicate to training your fur-pal. With all of the events going on in your life making room in your schedule to train your dog might not make it to the top of your priority list. With work, kids, family, sports activities, hobbies and all of those other important things going on, how do you find the time that is required to effectively train your pup so that it is your perfect dog for life?

Depending on the age of your dog and how many commands it already knows, you could ultimately end up spending hundreds of hours over months, or perhaps even years, working with your pal to get it to the point that it listens to your commands and will, more often than not, obey them. Or you may eventually give up and just learn to live with a dog that listens now and then, but for the most part just does whatever it wants and you and your family learn to deal with the consequences. In these situations YOU have been trained by your dog.

Many dog owners simply cannot dedicate the time required to train their dogs in any meaningful way so for these pet lovers our Board & Train Program might just be the answer.

With our Perfect Dog For Life Off Leash K9 Training program we take on the heavy lifting for you. Your dog stays at our property for two weeks and benefits from a consistent schedule of training, play and rest. Your dog is constantly being monitored so we can watch for, and correct, any of its bad habits as they happen so that your pal begins to understand what is expected of it. Over the course of the two-week board and train program your dog is evaluated and then carefully conditioned to the e-collar so that it understands what the e-collar stimulation means and what is expected. Once your dog understands the e-collar that’s when the real training can begin. Through a proven system of commands, markers, corrections and praise your dog learns to pay attention to the handler and to execute all of the commands being taught regardless of the type or level of distractions in the environment. And because this training helps build your dog’s confidence and trust they have more fun and they get to experience more off-leash freedom.

At the conclusion of the two-week program your dog is full trained to perform all of the commands that are part of the program as well as some other good behaviors like door manners, loading into a vehicle and getting its paws cleaned before being allowed in the house.

At the conclusion of the program we spend 2 or more hours teaching you about the e-collar technology, how to safely attached the collar to your dog and how to use the commands in conjunction with the remote control to effectively handle your pal. At this point your dog is fully off-leash trained to the e-collar and the commands so all you have to do is practice using the remote and you will have full off-leash control of your dog. Now every time you take your dog out it is a training session as you continue to have your dog work through all of its commands with you in full control.

And remember, we are always here to answer any questions you have and to offer support and encouragement. We are your training partners for the life of your dog because we want you to have your perfect dog for life.
