Wegen möglicher Metallteile hat der Discounter Lidl einen bestimmten Blätterteig zurückgerufen. Das Produkt "chef select Blätterteig, 275g" des österreichischen Herstellers Wewalka (Sollenau) habe ein Mindesthaltbarkeitsdatum bis 10.03.2018, wie Lidl mitteilte. Betroffen sind den Angaben zufolge die Länder Hessen, Niedersachsen, Nordrhein-Westfalen und Thüringen. Das Unternehmen hatte bereits vor einer Woche vor dem Verzehr des Produkts gewarnt - allerdings mit dem Haltbarkeitsdatum 08.03.2018. Dies galt für Teile Baden-Württembergs und Nordrhein-Westfalens. Wegen neuer Erkenntnisse und "um jegliches Risiko für die Verbraucher auszuschließen", sei die Rückrufaktion nun ausgeweitet worden. Der Rückruf betrifft demnach die Produkte mit beiden Haltbarkeitsdaten. Um sich nicht zu verletzen, sollten Kunden den Blätterteig nicht essen, sondern zu Lidl zurückbringen, so das Unternehmen. Das Geld werde mit und ohne Kassenbon erstattet.

Zwei Jahre lang hat HP Akkus ausgeliefert, bei denen nun eine Brand- und Verbrennungsgefahr festgestellt wurde. Das Unternehmen hat deswegen eine Rückrufaktion begonnen und will die betroffenen Akkus kostenlos ersetzen.

HP ruft weltweit Akkus von Notebooks und mobilen Workstations zurück, weil sie eine "Brand- und Verbrennungsgefahr für Kunden" darstellen. Die betroffenen Akkus wurden dem Rückruf zufolge zwischen Dezember 2015 und Dezember 2017 verkauft – auch als Zubehör oder Ersatzteil. Viele sind demnach fest im System verbaut und sollen von einem autorisierten Techniker gewechselt werden. Den Wechsel und den Ersatzakku gibt es kostenlos. Als Sicherheitsmaßnahme stellt HP außerdem ein BIOS-Update bereit, das Akkus in einen "Akkusicherheitsmodus" versetzt, in dem das Gerät an einem Netzteil ohne Rückgriff auf den Akku läuft. Die Option sollte bei betroffenen Geräten umgehend aktiviert werden.

Viele dieser Akkus sind fest im System verbaut, was bedeutet, dass sie nicht durch den Kunden ausgetauscht werden können. HP stellt einen kostenlosen Ersatzakku-Service durch einen autorisierten Techniker bereit. HP stellt außerdem ein BIOS-Update bereit, das den Akku in den „Akkusicherheitsmodus“ versetzt, sodass das Notebook bzw. die mobile Workstation über ein HP-Netzteil ohne Akku weiterhin sicher benutzt werden kann. Die von diesem Rückruf betroffenen Akkus sollten sofort in den „Akkusicherheitsmodus“ versetzt werden.

Zur CES 2018 stellte Intel mit seinen Partnern erste NUCs und Laptop-Designs mit der neuen Kaby Lake-G-Core-Generation vor, das HP Spectre x360-Convertible ist in Finnland bereits bei einem Händler gelistet. Ausgeliefert wird offenbar bereits ab dem 26. März, früher als erwartet.
Während das zur CES ebenfalls neu vorgestellte HP Spectre x360 mit Core i7-8550U-CPU und Nvidia MX150-Grafik bereits auf der HP Homepage zu finden ist, macht sich das spannendere Modell mit der neuen Intel Kaby Lake-G CPU/GPU-Familie offiziell noch rar. In Finnland wurde diese Kombination nun aber von einem treuen Notebookcheck-Leser beim Online-Händler Gigantti entdeckt. (Danke für den Tipp!)
