Security Monitoring

Once a student has completed Certificate II in Security Operations, RAM Training Services’ security monitoring course is the program they must complete when they want to add the monitoring function to their license. The program teaches practical skills and enhances knowledge in various aspects of security office work, including:

1. Security Control Room Operator
2. Using and Maintaining Monitoring Equipment
3. Identifying and Responding to Incidents
4. Reporting and others

Through the training course’s combination of practical skills and theory, a student will receive extensive training on responsibilities, reporting, legalities, duress alarm monitoring, intruder alarm monitoring, an introduction to positions in CCTV monitoring and others.

This course has two units:

1. CPPSEC2018A Monitor Electronic Reporting Facility

Upon successful completion of the course, students will receive a Statement of Attainment for the three units as partial fulfilment of the Certificate III in Security Operations.
