We know—for certain—the everlasting result for people who believe in Jesus because we trust in the force of Christ's resurrection, the capability of God to work all things together for our benefit, and the future glory of the saints. No matter what happens between now and then, the redeeming work of Christ on our behalf has written and sealed the conclusion of our tale into forever.

The reality is that life is filled with unfair suffering, unpleasant effects of sin, and a general brokenness that permeates every interaction with others, every conversation, and every trip to the grocery store with five young children. But the knowledge that our Savior is who God says he is can bring us great consolation. Jesus is the standard by which we evaluate every thought and feeling.
