FRIDAY JULY 14
• 5pm: Arrived to Panama City, Panama and took a taxi to Bristol Hotel Panama
• I had made a reservaMon for Bristol Hotel over the phone a[er finding it on
HotelsTonight. I made a reservaMon for two rooms, one for myself and one for Stefan,
who told me he would reimburse me for the charges in cryptocurrency.
• When I arrived to the hotel, Stefan was waiMng in the lobby, the Manager (Director of
OperaMons) Jorge Rodriguez, came to say hello to me, introduced himself, and brought
us each a welcome drink.
• Friday night we went to a restaurant called Lima, and went for hookah at a place called
NOA.
SATURDAY JULY 15
• Stefan met me in the lobby and had brought me a coffee from Paul Café, which is just across the street from Bristol Hotel.
• We went to ride bikes on the causeway
• We went to MulMplaza mall

• We went to Stefan’s friend’s restaurant, in Cosco Viejo neighborhood. I was under the impression we were going for a restaurant grand opening, but the restaurant was sMll under construcMon. I was not given the name of the restaurant, but it is planned to be a Mexican restaurant. We went there to check out the site/progress, and Stefan spoke to his friend Julio (different language).
• Then we went for dinner at Makoto and again to NOA for hookah.
SUNDAY JULY 16
• I met Stefan in the street outside the hotel, as he was bringing me a coffee again from Paul Café.
• We went to the MulMplaza mall again.
• I got a massage back at the hotel, and took a nap.
• 8:30pm We went for dinner at Azahar and again went for hookah at Beirut Café
• Stefan le[ Beirut saying he was going to meet up with some people and would see me in
the morning.
• All day Saturday and Sunday I was feeling very Mred, and extremely hot. Despite having
the AC in my room at 65* F, I was feeling extremely hot and uncomfortable.
MONDAY JULY 17
• 9:30am: I met Stefan in the lobby, again he had a coffee for me from Paul Café. None of these days did I ask him to bring me a coffee. But I took it and drank it like the other days.
o Stefan said he wanted to go see a boat that belonged to his friend Julio and that the captains were going to pick us up to go see it this morning.
o The car pulled up out front, a charcoal grey or dark blue sedan, maybe a chevron. o There were 3 men in the car, who I did not recognize.
o Stefan opened the back door and asked me to get in, so I was sihng in the
middle back seat, with Stefan to my le[.
o Immediately I was uncomfortable as the other men were not introducing
themselves or saying anything. I also was not comfortable being in the middle
seat and just felt something was off. • 9:35-9:40am: We le[ Bristol Hotel.
o About 10 minutes into the car ride I started feeling sick. I felt very dizzy and numb, blurry vision, and knew something was wrong, and felt like I had been drugged. My hands started to curl, I felt like vomiMng.
o I asked them to pull over, I said “Stefan, I feel sick!” Stefan said “Shut the fuck up!” and told the driver to turn up the AC.
o They would not pull over at my request, but eventually did come to park in a parking lot, probably a[er driving for about 15 minutes. I recognized we were on the Causeway.
o The driver parked the car next to a van that had another driver in it. That’s when I realized I was being kidnapped, and they were likely going to transfer me to the

van. The guys kept looking at me and each other, and I think they were
wondering why I hadn’t passed out yet.
o Stefan, the guy to my right, and the front passenger got out of the car, leaving me
in the back, and the driver in the car. The driver locked the doors and kept
looking at me while Stefan and the other guys were outside talking.
o I was dri[ing in and out of consciousness, and knew I had to get out of the car
and escape. My arms and legs were numb. I said a prayer and found strength to
unlock the door and run when the driver put his head down.
o I ran to a nearby store, the guy inside locked the door when he saw me. I don’t
know why, if he thought I was a threat or if he had something to do with it. I banged on the door and yelled that I was being kidnapped. The guy inside the store told me to sit on the curb and he was calling the police.
o I sat down on the curb. Stefan came and tried dragging me back to the car. I was able to get away from him and saw a yellow cab, which I ran to and stopped.
o I asked the yellow cab driver to take me to Bristol Hotel. Stefan also got into the
cab.
o At this point I blacked out for a period.
• Time of arrival back at Bristol Hotel – unknown. The camera footage will show. There is footage of the yellow cab arriving back at Bristol Hotel. It shows Stefan pulling me out of the cab and walking me into the lobby. I was visibly incapacitated, he put my arm around his shoulder and walked me inside and pass the hotel security.
o I regained consciousness in the hotel room (Stefan’s room).
o Stefan kept trying to keep me on the bed, kept telling me I need to sleep. I kept
gehng up to use the bathroom and he would follow me back and forth to
prevent me from leaving the room.
o Stefan was on his phone and my phone the enMre Mme.
o Everything was blurry and I was dri[ing in and out of consciousness, but I knew I
had to get away from him. I kept trying to call downstairs from the hotel phone
and he kept taking the phone away.
o Eventually I heard the hotel door close, he had le[ the room. I grabbed the
phone and I dialed downstairs for help.
• 3:30ish pm – Exact Mme unknown, but the DOO, Jorge Rodriguez came up to the room. I
don’t remember anyone else coming to the room.
o I told Jorge I’d been kidnapped, I can’t breathe, I feel like I’m dying, my throat
hurts, my heart hurts, I need an ambulance.
o I asked him where am I where is my stuff? Jorge told me I was not in my room,
and he then took me to my room, down the hall.
o Once I was in my own room with Jorge, he decided to order me soup, and told
me my jewelry, passport, and ipad were in the hotel room safe deposit box.
o I had never put anything in the hotel safe deposit box and that’s when I found it
clear that this is a set up.
o Jorge called my brother Arman with his own cell phone. He later billed me for the
call.

• 4pm – Jorge was trying to help me gain access to my ipad so I could gain access to my accounts, because I knew Stefan was stealing my money and crypto from my phone. I was also trying to contact my brother.
• 4:10pm – Jorge took cash from me and went across the street to get a charger for my ipad as it had no charge and for some reason the charger was missing.
• My ipad hadn’t been used since 2019, another reason I knew it was a setup.
• 5pm - A[er the soup arrived, I kept telling him I need an ambulance. He called some
kind of paramedic (not an ambulance) called Ficha Medica, two people came to take my vitals and le[. Which I was billed for even though the companies website specifically says they don’t bill clients customers
• Jorge also asked for cash to buy me advil for my headache.
• Jorge said he had to leave for an event and le[ me in the room. I went downstairs to try
to get help again – and told the front desk I needed police and an ambulance.
o I found Jorge downstairs in the lobby. He said he could order me a driver to take
me to the police staMon for $50.
o The driver came, asked me why I was going to the police staMon. I told him I had
been kidnapped and robbed. He couldn’t believe that he was taking me instead of someone at the hotel calling the police. He asked and called the hotel for why they waited so long no response
o The driver said he needed to urinate and stopped at a fast food restaurant across from the police staMon prior to taking me there.
• 8pm – I arrived to the police staMon, and met with two rabbis (David Bresler and Joshua D.) from the local Panama City Chabad. My brother had called the Chabad contact in Miami who put him in contact with these rabbis.
o I gave a statement to the police, and they filed a report.
o While at the police staMon, I had a seizure. They called a Hatzalah ambulance and
the rabbis accompanied me to Pacifica Salud Hospital.
• At the hospital, I had mulMple seizures and was admiqed and treated overnight.
TUESDAY JULY 18
• The rabbis stayed with me in the hospital.
• My brother and girlfriend traveled to Panama city to help me and get me home.
Stephanie arrived at the hotel at 10:45am. Arman arrived at 3pm a[er spending the morning reaching out to all of the crypto plarorms and brokerage accounts to freeze my accounts and report the fraud/the[.
• We spent the day in the hospital contacMng all of my accounts and informing them of what happened and that all of the transacMons from the previous day were the[ and unauthorized.
• 7pm The hospital determined I was stable to be discharged. Rabbie Roni drove Arman, Stephanie and I back to Bristol hotel to gather my things and figure out what to do next.
• Once we got into my room (1222), we were there for 10-15 minutes, talking, and I had another seizure.

• Stephanie tried calling 911 from her cell phone and the hotel phone but both were not working. She handed the phone to Arman who called the front desk and told them we needed an ambulance and they were asking quesMons and not immediately calling for one.
• Arman called the Hatzalah ambulance which came quickly to the room and they took me back to Pacifica Salud hospital.
• When the ambulance than arriced I had my second seizure the 5th in two days
• I was in the ER where they stabilized me and performed mulMple tests.
• 11:25pm I was admiqed into a room at the hospital. I was in the hospital unMl Thursday
evening July 20th.
WEDNESDAY JULY 19
• I was in the hospital recovering.
• Arman and Stephanie were helping me with contacMng the exchange plarorms as well
as the US Embassy in Panama and Panama Embassy.
• Arman and Stephanie went to Bristol Hotel to gather my belongings. They asked for
Jorge but the staff said he was out that day and the next. A security guard took them to
my room and they retrieved all of my things.
• Arman and Stephanie visited Paul Café and noted that there are cameras inside the café
as well as outside the café as it is inside the W Hotel.
• Arman and Stephanie went to Beirut café and spoke with a driver who sits out front
there as well as a maintenance guy who confirmed he remembered seeing Stefan and Aria there a couple of days ago. They had not seen Stefan since.
THURSDAY JULY 20
• I was in the hospital recovering
• Arman went with the rabbis to the causeway and FaceMmed me to try to locate the spot
that Stefan and the 3 men had parked and where I ran from them. They spoke to people in stores nearby and called police onto the scene to try to talk to anyone who may have seen the incident, and to direct police to review any video footage nearby.
• An intelligence officer (Officer Pinzon) from Panama Turismo police department came to visit me in the hospital and take another statement from me. The hospital security director was with him, and acted as a translator as Officer Pinzon did not speak English. Stephanie was there for this interview.
• Officer Pinzon confirmed that they found out that Stefan had le[ Panama City and returned to Medellin Colombia on the evening of July 17. He also stated that Stefan had purchased two Mckets, one flight to Miami and one to Medellin, likely in an effort to confuse law enforcement. Stefan le[ in a rush and le[ all of his belongings behind in the Bristol Hotel.
• We contacted the Colombian Embassy to make them aware.
• My brother, Stephanie, and I were growing increasingly stressed and paranoid about
who we could trust there. They were having issues with phone service and internet, and with booking return flights.

• I was cleared to leave the hospital.
• 8:50pm we arrived at the airport. There were only two Mckets available on the last flight
out to Miami, so Stephanie and I le[ and arrived back in Miami at 1:15am. Arman stayed with one of the rabbis and arrived back in Miami the next morning.
