The trapped personnel are trapped even if the elevator shaft is covered by thick smoke, which is why the passengers are not recommended to use the passenger elevator to escape in high-rise fires. These super high-rise buildings or crowded public buildings generally require fire elevators. In the event of a fire, they are the lifeline for people to be rescued. What kind of buildings need to be equipped with fire elevators? What are the requirements for its setup?
The scope of the fire elevator installation "Code for Fire Protection of Building Design" and "Code for Fire Protection Design of High-rise Civil Buildings" clearly stipulates the scope of installation of fire elevators, and requires the following five situations to set up fire elevators:
1. a high-class civil public building;
2. Ten-storey and ten-storey tower houses;
3. 12- and 12-story united houses and corridors;
4. Other second-class public buildings with a building height of more than 32 meters;
5. High-rise buildings and warehouses with elevators over 32 meters in height.
Knowing how the building should be equipped with a fire elevator, the requirements for its setup have the following points:
(1) The fire elevator room shall be provided with an anterior chamber, the area of ​​which: the residential building shall not be less than 4.50 m^2. Other buildings shall not be less than 6.00 m^2. When used in conjunction with the anti-smoke stairwell, the area: residential building It should not be less than 6.00m^2, and other buildings should not be less than 10m^2.
(2) The front room of the fire elevator room should be set up by the external wall. On the first floor, there should be a day outside the outdoor or a passage of no more than 30m to the outside.
(3) The door of the front room of the fire elevator room shall be a Class B fire door or a fire shutter with a stagnant function.
(4) The load of the fire elevator should not be less than 800kg.
(5) The fire elevator shaft, the engine room and other adjacent elevator shafts and machine rooms shall be separated by a partition wall with a fire resistance limit not lower than F2.ooh. When opening the door on the partition wall, a Class A fire door shall be provided.
(6) The driving speed of the fire elevator shall be determined by the running time from the first floor to the top floor not exceeding 60s.
(7) The interior decoration of the fire elevator car should be made of non-combustible materials.
(8) Special telephones shall be provided in the fire elevator car, and the operation buttons for firefighters shall be provided on the first floor.
(9) Water-proof facilities should be installed at the front door of the fire elevator. Drainage facilities shall be provided at the bottom of the fire elevator. The drainage well capacity shall not be less than 2.00m3, and the displacement of the drainage pump shall not be less than 1oL/s.
(10) Power and control cables and wires should be waterproof.
(11) Fire elevators can be used in conjunction with passenger elevators or work elevators, but should meet the above requirements.
(12) When arranging fire elevators in high-rise buildings, the convenience of firefighters should be considered and should be combined with evacuation stairwells.
