Our passion for steering the domestic organic industry has given us confidence to venture into the global scheme of things in the $1 trillion (USD) organic industry. The global demand is consistently increasing at a steady pace and this gives the overall industry desired confidence to stay in the game. Our development of unique business models has led us to develop unique business propositions for our Indian brands to reach out to the global organic consumers. We are trying to take the organic industry to the next level and this could only be possible through enabling economies of scale for our organic players. The only reason why organics are still a bit on the higher price side in India is because the demand for organics has not reached the equilibrium and hence, the organic players are producing/selling organics below their production capacity. Therefore, till the time we do not expand the demand for organics, the overall supply will not be able to reach the desired cost. Once we take these organic players to the global demand, and thereby expand their product’s demand from consumers, we will be able to bridge the gap between demand and supply and thereby strive to achieve the equilibrium in the market. This is simple economics.
On a much broader level, we are bringing joy to the small organic players and for the global consumers; we are bringing authentic organic supply at affordable prices (as per the global price index) for the consumers. Hence, this is a win-win situation for both the consumers as well as the supply side.

The development of some brands in the industry from manufacturing to now packaging and retailing reflects the confidence that brands have now gained on the organic consumers in India. And with all the required certifications, there is no question on authenticity. Infact, there are certain products like organic essential oils and organic spices that are preferred by the global consumer if it has a ‘Make In India’ tag. While there is a lot of organic products that already go out as export from India in bulk, now is the time to cut the supply chain short and directly reach out to the consumers at the global level for brands. This is how organic brands, big and small, will create their identity at the global stage.
