Types of Emergency Lighting
* Emergency Escape Lighting
* Escape Route Lighting - this is most likely to be used in the event of fire. It helps people abandon a building as speedily as feasible.
High Risk Task Area Lighting - In hazardous areas where unsafe processes or situations need to be observed, it is crucial that emergency lighting systems are designed to the precise needs of the surroundings.
* Open Area (Anti Panic) Lighting - To keep away from panic in large open areas, emergency lighting must provide sufficient light to feel safe & evacuate the building by the nearest escape route.
Standby Lighting - This is used to provide for mains malfunction and allows regular work procedure to carry on.
