Three Growing Dome® Greenhouse Kit Installation Options

The Growing Dome® greenhouses come in easy-to-install and prefabricated kits. Growing Spaces offers customers three installation options to accommodate its customers’ building skills and the size of the greenhouse.

Complete Owner Installation

Owners build the greenhouse themselves using the instructions manual and installation videos included in each kit. Self-installation is applicable only for domes 26 feet in diameter or smaller. The owners are recommended to allot four to seven days for construction and to have at least two people build the domes.

Supervised Installation

Growing Spaces sends a supervisor to work with the owners and direct the crew they hired for the construction. Supervisors are hired for a set number of hours and are paid $300 per day; the owners also shoulder the additional expenses for the supervisor’s travel, meals, and lodging. Supervised installation is unavailable for the 15- or 18-foot domes but required for the 33-foot Growing Dome®.

Full Crew Installation

Installing larger Growing Domes® may require the help of both a supervisor and a Certified Growing Dome Installation Crew. The team will have the dome built in two to five days, depending on the size. Owners also receive technical support via phone to help them prepare the construction site. The labor costs for a full greenhouse installation ranges between $1600 and $8000.
