The multicultural group of staff members at the JVLR Campus appears to be an invaluable source of primary information.

He said that on the Tuesday of next week, the campus might welcome back into the building 2 of our Grade 10 students who are preparing for a variety of MYP e-assessments and e-portfolios. Joining them on that day will be 11 teachers. That's a pretty amazing teacher-to-student ratio! This is very exciting, as it represents a first step towards what we all hope will be a much wider return of students and faculty members to our building.

Stephen added, “Yojana Nikhil and Nandini Ramesh are facilitating a unit on Body Systems for their Grade 8 students with a focus on the impact of cultural norms and practices on an individuals' effort to stay fit and healthy. They have found that this exploration lends itself to authentic Service as Action (SaA), and they are preparing to engage their students in this experience. The multicultural group of staff members at the JVLR Campus appears to be an invaluable source of primary information, and Yojana and Nandini wish to give students the opportunity to interview willing faculty and staff members. Students will then interpret and analyze the information to prepare fitness and health plans for a chosen target group within a culture.”

He also spoke about last week's "Virtual Trips Week" in the Secondary School and how it was a huge success, with students in Grades 6 - 10 hitting pause on the usual schedule to participate in a variety of activities around Interdisciplinary Units, Personal Project, and wellness.

Revisiting the many exciting ongoing activities that the campus, Augeri spoke about the Visible Thinking Routines that was conducted by Meher Puri and Paulami Roy. He mentioned that “I was a part of the Primary School parent session in the morning. The presentation was very well-done, and it was so interesting to read parents' questions that were posted in the chat. This is yet another example of our home-school partnership, where we actively engage parents to help them better understand the work we are doing with their children.”

Overall, there is a lot going on in the JVLR Oberoi International School campus and the faculty is prepared and excited to re-open after the pandemic.
