Project 1: Revolutionizing Multi-Unit Housing in Port Moody, BC

The Sutter Brook Residency: From Zero Chargers to EV Adoption Catalyst
NorthCharge partnered with The Sutter Brook Residency strata council to install 5 units of Level 2 EV chargers, addressing the condo’s lack of charging infrastructure. The project has already spurred a noticeable shift toward EV adoption among residents, with many transitioning to electric vehicles post-installation.

Key Highlights:

• Collaborative Model: NorthCharge funded the chargers, while the strata council adopted a revenue-sharing model based on kWh usage, ensuring mutual long-term benefits.
• Affordability: Competitive tariffs make charging accessible, removing cost barriers for residents.
• Sustainability Impact: The project supports Canada’s clean energy goals by reducing emissions and encouraging EV ownership.

Project 2: Supercharging EV Sales at Hyundai Kingscross Scarborough, ON

Free Charging, Happy Customers, and Growing Sales
NorthCharge installed a 40kW Dual-Port DCFC and 2 Level 2 stations (50 Amps each) at Hyundai Kingscross Scarborough, funded through government grants secured by NorthCharge. The dealership now offers free charging to customers, enhancing satisfaction and driving EV sales.

Key Outcomes:
• Sales Growth: The free charging perk has become a unique selling point, attracting EV buyers and boosting dealership revenue.
• Operational Efficiency: The DCFC keeps the dealership’s EV test-drive fleet fully charged, streamlining customer experiences.
• Community Access: The station is open to the public, serving local EV drivers and raising the dealership’s community profile.
