PCCTI Chicago is approved by IBHE, IDPH And IDFPR. Illinois Department of Public Health (IDPH) was created in the year 1877 in order to promote sanitation and regulate medical practitioners. Now, IDPH has the responsibility to protect the state's residents and visitors through the prevention and control of injury and disease. The department has nearly 200 programs which touch almost every age, aspect and cycle of life.

Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation (IDFPR) was created with a mission to protect and promote the lives of Illinois consumers. It regulates most of the professionals and financial institutions that Illinois families depend on everyday – from banks to veterinarians and almost everything in between. It also works with licensed professionals, law enforcement officers, members of the General Assembly, consumer groups and concerned public citizens to ensure that unscrupulous businesses and incompetent professionals cannot take advantage of their customers and clients.

PCCTI IT and Healthcare is also approved by Illinois Board of Higher Education (IBHE). This board was created in the year 1961 to plan and coordinate Illinois' system of colleges and universities at a time when enrollments in post-secondary education were taking flight. The aim was to create an agency with the expertise, credibility and statewide perspective to map an efficient and orderly course for the dramatic growth of higher education then underway.
