30-DAY CAMPAIGN COMPRISES WEEKLY ACTIVITIES AND INTERACTIVE SESSIONS

NIST institute Pvt. Ltd. known for its excellence in training and quality in all its innovative endeavors has taken another initiative this time. “NIST Contributes to safety” the motto is not only preached but practiced. As a part of the Food Safety Education Month which falls on September, there are numerous interactive knowledge sharing activities are planned for their employee who in turn will lead a healthy and happy life.
Every bite of food we consume should maintain the quality and reliability of the food. How many of us know what food to choose over the right or wrong food. Amidst all the myths and facts about the food consumption, how many of us know about consumerism. Food safety as four golden rules, they are Clean, chill, cook and serve. The purpose of this awareness programme would be educating the consumers about their choice of consumption and the reliability of the person who manufactures.
The modus operandi for the “Food Safety Education Month” is as follows, the four golden rules of food safety will be clearly explained and activities pertaining to those topics will be held. The posters and activities we created for “Food safety education month” are designed to give another way to emphasize the importance of reducing the incidence of food allergy/poisoning reactions in our country. These materials also communicate concepts clearly and quickly.
There are array of programs organized for promoting food safety education month, there will be quizzes/games pertaining to food safety rules and the winner would be selected. This event will take place simultaneously in the NIST office and also in the social media websites like Facebook, Twitter and Pinterest.
In the first week of September, there will be a rally from NIST institute Pvt Ltd. to a local park located in 2 kms of radius. The objective of this rally is to make the consumers be aware of food safety rules and guidelines. A flyer mentioning the golden rules of food safety would be given to the public.
The second week of September will be focusing on photograph contest depicting the “Importance of Food Safety” which is open for both public and for the employees of NIST Institute Pvt Ltd. The entries will be received through social media networks and even in hardcopies with a caption, the best photo will be chosen by a reputed judge and will be awarded an exciting prize.
The third week of September will have an easily answerable quiz pertaining to consumerism and food safety. The guidelines will be mentioned to the participants 4 hours before the quiz. In addition to this, there will be a poster competition which can be manually or graphically designed depicting the “Current status of consumerism in food”; the selected poster for award can be made as a design for a NIST food safety brochure.
The fourth week of September, there will be a technical session delivered by a reputed food safety professional, the talk will be on the “Need for food safety” and this session will be a webinar session which will be posted in Social Media and any queries pertaining to food safety will also be answered during this session.
As a concluding event, NIST will be conducting a cookery competition which will be on the topic “cooking without fire” where the basic food safety guidelines will be incorporated and there will also be a valedictory event on the last Saturday of the September which will conclude the fun and games which imposes on food safety guidelines.
