Thermoplastic PET

Thermoplastic PET is the most commonly used PET. The main feature that makes them different from thermoset PET is that they are able to undergo multiple cycles of melting and curing without significant degradation. Thermoplastic PET is typically supplied in the form of small particles or flakes that are heated by various manufacturing processes and form the desired shape. This process is completely reversible because chemical bonding does not occur, which makes it possible to recover or melt and reuse thermoplastic PET.
