10th Aug 2015 - The popular interlocking play mat company Soft Floor UK have launched an exciting new product to add to their already impressive range of interlocking foam play mats for kids.

Dubbed 'White Board Mats' the new Writeable Play Mat features a genuine white board top surface, mounted on the same high-quality EVA foam backing as all the other mats in their range. You can use standard white board pens to create your own pictures or practice your writing. To clean the mats, simply wipe away with a cloth or standard white board eraser and start again.

They really are a lot of fun and company Directory Walker Brierley explained the thinking behind the design: “There are a lot of fabric based doodle mats on the market, but we wanted to produce something to fit within our range.” When asked if the mats were difficult to produce, he added: “We had some problems getting the right texture at first but we're happy we've got it now.”

The white board mats are 60cm square in size and fit together will all other 60cm and 30cm play mats in the range so you can create your own unique floor space which is safe and fun! And, just like the other mats, they are quick to lay and easy to store. For peace of mind, it's worth noting that all of Soft Floor's EVA products are made from high-quality, closed-cell (non-absorbing) EVA foam, which is 100% non-toxic and formamide free.
