Conway, Arkansas - October 13, 2017 - In this modern era, you can do almost anything with your phone: you fix your schedule, monitor your CCTV cameras at home, send your business emails, keep updated with the news, update your social media accounts, call and message your family in real time, and even watch a movie anytime anywhere. No matter how convenient this is, one dilemma we always face here at phone repair conway is the inability to watch our favorite movies in a bigger screen. However, through time, we have found the best solution to that problem!

So in this article brought to you by New Wave Wireless, your best choice in cell phone repair Conway, you will be able to learn how to make your own projector so you can watch your favorite movie anytime and anywhere!

Things you will need
For this project, you will definitely need a foam board, a couple of glue sticks, an empty but stable shoebox, a hobby knife or what they call an Exacto knife, a hot glue gun, a ruler, and of course, your smartphone.

Remove the glass
Take your magnifying glass and remove the glass. Some magnifying glasses are adjustable, allowing you to remove the glass easily without cutting the handle off. This is the part wherein you can do whichever is possible and a lot more easier.

Draw a hole in the center of the shoe box
Before you proceed to this part, you will have to reinforce the sturdiness of the flaps of the shoebox by sealing it with the glue gun to make sure it stays firm and it will not wiggle. The moment it becomes dry, you can start tracing the circumference of the glass but before you cut it, trace the circle ¼ of an inch smaller so you will have something to glue your glass onto.

Glue the glass with a strong adhesive
Heat up your glue gun and trace your hot glue all around the circumference of your hole then place your glass so it will adhere to the glue. Hold onto it for a couple of seconds so that you can make sure it does not budge and will stay in place.

Build a phone stand
For sure your smartphone will be a lot smaller than your shoe box, so this is the part wherein you have to build a stand for your phone using the foam boards we required in the early part of this article. Simply divide the foam board in 2 parts and glue each parts to form a letter ‘T’ while making sure it fits just right inside the box. Then you amy secure your phone snugly so it will not budge while you are watching your movie.

Close the box and enjoy
Now you have everything in set, you can now close the box with its lid, play the movie, and start enjoying your recreational time with your DIY projector that you made on your own!
