Nepal, 3rd Mar, 2017 - Annapurna Base Camp is one of the famous tourist destinations of Nepal which is located in North central of Nepal bounded by Kali Gandaki Gorge on west, Marshyandi river on east and north and beautiful Pokhara valley in the south. In an innovative approach to environmental protection it was declared a “conservation area” instead of a national park. Forests, forested hills and mountains, high Himalayas, Himalayan desert plateau types of landscape can be found here.

People like Gurungs, Thakali, Magars and Brahman are found in lower part of this region while as you move up people with more Tibetan culture are found. It possess the beauty of snowcapped peaks, very holy temples and Buddhist Monasteries, antique villages with friendly ethnic groups, Thorang la pass, rivers, lakes and deep gorge, stunning views of mountains like Annapurna, Manaslu, Fishtail, etc.
