FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
We love to ensure that the ISO certification is easy to understand and in line with that philosophy, here are the most common questions asked by potential customers.

1: WHAT IS ISO CERTIFICATION?
The ISO certification is the seal of approval from a third party that a company operates on one of the internationally recognized ISO management systems. The tender certificate can be used to serve as evidence of the company’s honesty but also to instill faith in the potential client that will keep your promises.

2: WHY WOULD I WANT ISO CERTIFICATION?
The ISO certificate is a statement to stakeholders, employees and senior management that the company wants to work within a particular framework in order to achieve the objectives of its company. This target has customer satisfaction, production goals or environmental goals, etc. By assigning yourselves the task of maintaining an external certification, you demonstrate the company’s commitment to these goals, as well as increasing the credibility and confidence of customers in your brand/service or product.
For example, by operating a quality management system, the company can stay in control of its operations and procedures, ensuring that anything that does not go wrong is quickly and efficiently corrected to the satisfaction of the customer. It can also ensure a seamless line of communication between employees, suppliers, and customers at all times.

Many public and private sector tenders require ISO certification as a prerequisite for moving to the next stage or as a filter for removing firms from the tender process. By achieving the ISO certification that your clients give you weight, you are guaranteed a “level of play” with your potential competitors and improves your chances of successful bidding. Many companies we work with are reporting improved key internal efficiency that allows them to achieve greater results both in sales and operational capacity.

3: WHAT DOES ISO CERTIFICATION COST?
The costs of ISO certification vary depending on the size of the organization and the level at which the company is already managed in relation to processes and procedures. There are some special payments available if you decide to implement more than one standard at the same time. We are a fixed fee company, which means we will set this payment once we have met you to negotiate your specifications and give you an official quote. We will not charge you any additional then what is specified so that you can know from the beginning your costs and payment method.

Due to our suggestions being detailed and a number of variables that can affect the cost of implementation, we would love to meet our potential customers to get to know them a little better before providing them with costs.

4: HOW LONG DOES IT GET TO ACHIEVE ISO CERTIFICATION?
We are aiming for a delivery period of 6-8 weeks, but this can again vary from organization to organization. We’re not going to delay the process. We understand, however, that things can happen, which may mean that you need a little delay. It will accommodate this wherever possible; however, for those looking to achieve certificates as soon as possible, we will endeavor to ensure that your certificate is obtained within our standard time schedules.

After the quotation has been received and the deposit has been received we provide to all our customers a message you can send to your prospective customers or include it with tenders, to make sure you have entered the process and that you will be fully supported within 6-8 weeks. This is usually sufficient to proceed with the bidding process. This can then be supported up by an announcement letter stating that you have achieved ISO certification.

5: HOW DO I OBTAIN ISO CERTIFICATION?
Our main spirit is to keep the process for you, the customer, as simple as possible. We make a preliminary assessment of the company, to find out where the company currently stands in relation to the chosen ISO system. From this, we produce a series of recommendations on what to do to comply with (unless absolutely necessary, we will not make any major changes to the procedure).
We will then develop a plan to implement the recommendations (to be completed within the next 6-12 months), complete as many of them as possible for you, write your manual and mandatory SOPs (as required by the standard) and then 6-8 weeks after the first visit An initial assessment is to provide proof with your ISO certificate.

You will be certified from this feature forward. The systems focus on continuous improvement. Next, we will visit you on a regular basis to make sure you are on the right track with recommendations and ready to re-rely year on year.
6: WHAT IS THE ISO ACCREDITATION AND IS IT DIFFERENT TO CERTIFICATION?
It is important to understand that ISO and ISO certification are two different things. ISO certification or ISO certified certification is when the company has achieved the ISO and BS standard by the certification body accredited by UKAS or equivalent. Each country has its own version of UKAS (for its INAB Ireland), and although it is not closer to the government, it acts as a governing body for certification companies.
Please note that in each country, there is only one true accreditation body and any other forms of accreditation “accreditation bodies” may be misleading. In most countries, accreditation is an option, not an obligation. BSI and the International Organization for Standardization themselves in fact that “The lack of an accredited certification body does not mean that it is not a reputable organization, for example, a certification body operating nationally in a very specific sector may enjoy such a good reputation that it does not feel that there is an advantage Her to go to an approved account’

While it cannot be seen by a majority of customers better than the other, there are some key differences that deserve to be aware of. The main difference is the accredited certification body is unable to implement regulations in the business during the accreditation process the way we or any other certification body is able to. They cannot only perform the functions of the evaluation/audit body, nor should they have any role in the preparation process. Next, it could mean having to hire a company like ourselves as a consultant to implement the system and make the accredited body certified.
This not only adds additional expenses to the customer but also can delay the time it takes to achieve the certificate. On the other hand, the certification body can not only act as a consultant to implement the systems in the company but can certify the company once it is fulfilled and then provide support and guidance throughout the year to ensure that the company retains its certificate and most importantly use the systems for the company on an ongoing basis.

7: WHAT IS AN AUDIT?
An audit is a process whereby the company shows evidence of working in the required system and this is a mandatory component of ISO / BS systems. A qualified auditor will attend your building in order to evaluate your management system against the ISO / BS standard that you have been certified to.
The auditor will usually prepare a report that analyzes your management system and uses it against the standard items. ISO Limited Services will also provide you with recommendations for improvement that will be agreed with you to help you move the system forward to enable continuous improvement.

8: WHY DO I HAVE to NEED TO HAVE AN AUDIT?
An audit is the required element of ISO / BS standards. It is proof that the system you have implemented is fit for purpose and constantly improving. This is a regular check that you manage the system / s constantly.

9: WHY DOES THE ISO QUALITY SERVICES OFFER SUPPORT VISITS AND VALIDATION AUDITS EACH YEAR?
From experience, we know that by leaving the customer from the supply point until the first validation meeting in the 12th month, 9 out of 10 customers will delay the completion of most of the work until the eleventh month. Then they find the validation process time-consuming, stressful, next sometimes they don’t see the real value the system can add to the business. By visiting on a more regular basis than some of our competitors, our clients have indicated that they feel more supportive and more confident about being on track to be re-adopted at the end of the year. It ensures that the process is less stressful as they have time to resolve any concerns in a health check pattern review session.

10: WHY DOES THE ISO QUALITY SERVICES ROTATE YOUR ASSESSORS?
There are four main benefits for rotating residents: Although one of the departing residents is rare, we want to secure that more than one resident knows your business. It is good practice to rotate the residents so that they do not audit their work from the previous visit. Residents have unique business experience and periodic consultants, Next, gives you access to different perspectives and experiences; and allows us to offer you a more extensive choice of audit dates.

11: ISO STANDARDS DO I NEED?
There are more than 16,500 different management standards, so sometimes it can be confusing to find the next ones that are right for your business. ISO 9001 Quality Management is the best place to start because this is the basic standard that most other known standards are based on. It focuses on customer service and ensures the customer gets the service they want, at the right time for the cost that is fair.

12: WHAT IS A NON-CONFORMANCE?
Nonconformity is when nothing goes inside the business according to the plan, which may lead to customer complaints or delays in normal operation. These measures should be seen as “opportunities for improvement” and recorded so that trends can be identified and possible action is taken.

13: WE HVAE ALREADY GOT CHAS AND SAFE CONTRACTOR – WHY WOULD WE NEED ISO 45001 CERTIFICATION?
ISO 45001 supports the entire health and safety management system of the company. It gives the company a framework to manage the health and safety system as a whole, including on-site and off-site work. Companies that run the 45001 system in conjunction with either Shas or the security contractor find it much easier to maintain the overall health and safety of their employees, visitors, and customers. It allows the company to link every aspect of its activities that may have an attached health and safety risk.

14: WE HAVE A SAFETY POLICY IN PLACE. WHY DO WE ALL NEED AN ISO 27001 INFORMATION SECURITY MANAGEMENT SYSTEM?
Possession of security policy does not in itself prevent violations; employees need to understand them and put them into practice. Only 26% of respondents with a safety policy believe their employees have a very good understanding of it. 21% believe that the level of understanding is weak. “Easily exploited and constantly overlooked the human side of computer security,” the economist said. People “.

According to a survey conducted by Infosec (2012), 70 percent of large organizations revealed significant attempts to break into their networks last year. The average cost for the worst security breach for large organizations was between £ 110,000 and £ 250,000 while the cost for small businesses ranged from £ 15,000 to £ 30,000. The root cause is often a lack of investment in educating employees about security risks, with 75 percent of organizations where security policy lacks an adequate understanding of staff-related violations, the survey report said.

15: AS A COMPANY WE HAVE BACKUPS, VIRUS PROTECTION AND PASSWORDS – WHY DO WE ALL NEED ISO 27001?
Threats to information protection do not come through technology alone. Unhappy employees, resentful former employees, deceptive managers, and competitors can access your confidential information and can use this at the expense of business and reputation. This can be purposeful or accidental. The information is not limited to electronic form but includes all forms of communication, including verbal and hard copies.
ISO 27001 encourages all employees to receive appropriate training and records to know what is expected of them. This can prevent any incidental security breaches.

16: WHAT IS ISO 9001?
ISO 9001 is a method of quality management that can be incorporated into any organization. It focuses on ensuring that businesses provide a consistent level of quality to their customers through well-defined processes and procedures and are regularly reviewed. The system is fully integrated into existing business processes and becomes part of the culture within the organization. Ultimately, the business will not perform the task to comply with ISO 9001, and the task will be carried out in favor of the business. The system covers eight key business principles:
• Customer Focus
• Leadership
• Involve people
• Process approach
• System approach in the administration
• continuous improvement
• Factual approach to decision-making
• Mutually beneficial supplier relationships

17: WHAT IS ISO 14001?
ISO 14001 is a management system for the environment that can be integrated into any business. The main focus of the environmental management system is to reduce costs, reuse resources and, in the event of inability to reuse, recycle as much as possible. It forces the company to be aware of and control a business that has an environmental impact. It can highlight areas within a business that have high consumption and waste, following, resulting in cost savings, and in some industries ensure the company maintains its legal and regulatory requirements.

As it is almost impossible to expect a company to be 100% environmentally friendly, the system focuses on promoting business either to reduce the use of raw materials or if this is not possible to maintain the use of these materials on an ongoing basis. The system allows the company to set its own goals, next, allowing you to create achievable goals without compromising on the daily activities of the general business.

18: DO I STILL NEED A MANUAL IN THE NEW (CURRENT) ISO 9001:2015 OR ISO 14001:2015?
Later versions of these standards do not have requirements for the manual. While this is the case, the standard still requires documentation of some information such as internal/external issues/stakeholder needs and expectations. On this basis, there is a need for evidence to help you prove it effectively.

19: DO YOU OFFER A REFERRAL SCHEME?
Yes! For every strong referral we receive, we will donate £ 50 to the charities we have chosen, Midlands Air Ambulance. In addition, we will thank you for your choice of reward: a state of wine or £ 50 of the high street vouchers.
