RALEIGH, NC: The North Carolina Senior Democrats will host a series of interviews with candidates for the U.S. Senate seat opening up in North Carolina in 2022. The sessions will be conducted online via ZOOM. The ZOOM calls will be broadcast each Thursday evening at 7:00 p.m., beginning September 23 and running through November 18, 2021.

NCSD expects each session to last 30 to 45 minutes.
Candidates will address a number of issues that are near and dear to seniors across the state. Our next U.S. Senator will weigh in on expanded health care, senior care, social security continuity, senior housing, and public transportation to name a few.

After the candidate filing period is complete, the NCSD will also host a debate with the declared Democratic candidates prior to the primary election. That debate will be live. Questions will be sent to each candidate prior to this event.

Participation in the events will require advance registration.
