Karate is one of the most dynamic martial arts. A trained karate practitioner can coordinate his mind and body and use his physical strength when needed. Therefore, high physical strength is not the factor of Karate’s strength, but it is the ability to coordinate body and mind that gives him strength. With this ability, even the smallest people find destructive power within themselves.
Karate is practiced for a variety of reasons, but was originally developed for self-defense. Forms or kata include several targeted techniques, including hand strikes, kicks, locks, and hooks. However, proper training is required to use these techniques.
