[b]Format & Content of IELTS[/b]

There are 2 kinds of IELTS training test- IELTS Academic & IELTS General Training. While the Listening and Speaking parts of the test remain the same, the Reading & Writing parts differ in the two tests.

[b]1.Reading Section:[/b] This section of the IELTS exam requires the examinee to read 3 longer and more complex texts than the 4 or 5 short paragraphs of simple texts in the General Training test.

[b]2.Writing Section:[/b] This section is characterized by a description of a chart or a diagram that is provided to you. The description should be in 150 words in the Academic Test. On the other hand, in the General Test, you will need to write a description of a real-life situation given to you.

[b]3.Speaking Section:[/b] This section has 3 parts and takes around 11 to 14 minutes. The candidates will have a one-on-one conversation with an examiner and the audio will be recorded for later analysis.

[b]4.Listening Section:[/b] This section is divided into 4 sections on which you will have to listen to audios of people talking on different subjects. Later, you will have to answer the questions based on the conversation you have heard.
