Police Foundations at Centennial College is a program that includes the type of training students need to apply for positions as customs officers, police offers and more.

Various police and military forces as well as the field of security and related occupations require students to have the type of solid foundation that is offered at Centennial College.

Police officers, customs officers and security officers with the Provincial Police Services, Royal Canadian Mounted Police, Armed Forces and more may all obtain training from the Police Foundations program, which takes two years to complete.

Because all courses are based on real-life experiences and case studies, the Diploma program boasts intense training equivalent to that of a paramilitary environment, which serves to help students to develop discipline and deportment. Students learn everything from the use of police powers and crisis intervention strategies to information-gathering skills used in basic investigative techniques and documenting, and preparing and assisting in the presentation of court cases.

Centennial College provides students with an opportunity to continue their studies through select educational partners. These partners allow students to apply credits to further education and include: Brock University, Conestoga College, Georgian College, Griffith University, Humber College, Laurentian University, Royal Roads University and University of Ontario Institute of Technology (UOIT).
