NanoMediTech commits to US$1.5m to support COVID-19 relief efforts

DONGJAK-GU/SEOUL - NanoMediTech today announced an initial commitment of up to US$1.5 million to support relief efforts to help local Korean communities impacted by COVID-19.

 
NanoMediTech said the funds will be used to support response efforts and medical equipment and supplies, sanitation equipment and precautionary measures incase if a second wave of the Coronavirus.

NanoMediTech’s Chief Science Officer, Mr. Laurent Brunet commented on the financial commitment saying "The COVID-19 pandemic is presenting a series of unprecedented challenges for people, governments and healthcare systems globally, which is why it is very important to immediately support local communities to contain the spread of the virus and help those directly impacted."

“We will be sending teams out to give advice and learning programs to help assist communities so we can educate them so that they have the knowledge and know what precautions to take. We hope is that this commitment will help other companies on the front lines address urgent needs as we begin to understand the long-term needs of our communities," added Laurent Brunet, Chief Science Officer of NanoMediTech.
