Sustainable Development Agenda 2030 addressed and affirmed by the United Nations in 2015 focuses on creating a world where no one remains poor & hungry, people’s well-being is promoted, gender equality is achieved, cleaner alternates of fuel are adopted, peace is imparted and the environment is nurtured for the betterment of present and future generations.

Imbibing and following these noble objectives into our philosophy, Nagrik Foundation firmly believes in spreading the message to the entire nation through active work on the development issues concerning health, sanitation, education, gender discrimination and many others. The targeted societies include underprivileged, children, women, adolescents, and older people. The journalists and media professionals are provided with specialised training, research and coached for capacity building to enlighten the society with their accelerating actions.

There are numerous disadvantaged groups that reside within a country and often these communities suffer from a communication gap and social instability that results in disastrous situations that go unnoticed. These communities include rural women, children and the elderly who cannot air their grievances clearly.

To bridge the gap between such grassroots level communities with the government and to emerge as a sustainingly developed nation in all aspects, Nagrik Foundation helps in realizing the dreams of every individual through teachings, consultation, training and advocacy.
