With a massive boom in green jobs expected to hit the United States in the months ahead, resource site Eco Careers is gearing up to help connect as many employers and jobseekers in the green economy as possible.

EcoCareers.org is an online jobs board and resource website for all jobs in sustainability, whether traditional green jobs like solar panel technicians or environmental scientists to jobs in industries that are newer to sustainability, like fashion and manufacturing. EcoCareers.org seeks to connect employers, hiring managers and HR personnel in the green sector with jobseekers and the top talent in their respective industries.

“The green economy — which includes careers and jobs in renewable energy, clean energy, sustainability and the like — had already been experiencing enormous growth over the last several years,” noted Joseph Boll, EcoCareers.org CEO. “That’s expected to skyrocket even more, thanks to the IRA.”

The Inflation Reducation Act (IRA), which was passed last August, is a federal law that aims to encourage investment in clean energy, among other goals. In the wake of its passing, green economy communications group Climate Power reported nearly 100 new sustainable projects being launched in seven states this year. Further, it projected that multiple billion-dollar investment projects in nearly 30 states will result in more than 100,000 new jobs in the green sector in the months ahead.
