New Website Breaks Remote Jobs Trend

A newly launched website is breaking the trend of remote jobs being the exception rather than the norm.

As the popularity of remote work continues rising to unexpected heights, and as companies debate whether to enforce return-to-office mandates or adapt to a new way of working, a newly launched website is breaking the trend of remote jobs being the exception rather than the norm.

Just before the start of the COVID-19 pandemic, most people never imagined remote work would even be possible for them, let alone that it would soon become the prevalent form of working for people around the world. A short time later, remote work critics would swear remote work would soon meet its end and everyone would go back to their normal 9-5 routines and daily commutes. This year, some companies began attempting to force workers to do just that, even in the face of the Great Resignation that saw countless employees quit rather than compromise on their values — including, in many instances, the newly-found work-life balance remote work offered them.

Despite these attempts, independent studies continue to find the popularity of remote work is by no means dying down among the American workforce. Though appetite is strong, many jobs cling to an outdated form of work and new data shows just a fraction of businesses, big or small, are offering remote work, hybrid or work from anywhere options to their existing employees or prospective candidates. However, RemoteWorker.jobs is proving an exception to that trend.

RemoteWorker.jobs is an online jobs board for remote workers, remote work jobseekers, and hiring managers, employers and HR personnel in the United States seeking to recruit and hire the top talent for remote positions. Launched earlier this year after the immense success of its partner site, RemoteWorker.co.uk, the new website dedicated to providing resources to American remote workers, and the forward-thinking companies looking to hire them, has helped dozens of workers find their dream job. In the last month alone, it has seen some 130,000 unique visitors traverse its site.

“On Remote Worker, all of our jobs offer remote work, not just some or the rare one or two,” says Joseph Boll, Remote Worker CEO and long-time supporter of the benefits of remote work. “Remote work is the future, simply and truly, and companies that don’t get onboard will fall behind.”

Boll noted repeated studies that show Americans are willing to accept pay cuts just for the opportunity to work remotely, and some are even willing to quit if forced to return to the office. As such, he said the need for a website committed solely to remote jobs is pressing and the choice for companies is simple.

“The benefits of remote jobs are many, for both employer and employee,” says Boll. “They can both turn to resources like Remote Worker to find what they need.”
