Because of the Corona virus pandemic, JEE (M) maybe postponed from January to February 2021. Official announcements regarding dates of JEE (M) and JEE (A) are still awaited. But some details have already been announced.

JEE (M) will be conducted only in online format. Candidates can appear for any one or both the exams conducted in a year. The number of questions has been changed from 90 to 75. Students will be awarded a maximum mark of 300 as against 360.

There is no need for a candidate to furnish an Aadhaar card to take up the exam. There is also no age limit for JEE (M), 2021.

The top performers of JEE (M) will be shortlisted for JEE (A). But it is sufficient to have only a JEE (M) score to gain entry into the 30 NIT’s (National Institutes of Technology), 5 IITS (Indian Institutes of Information Technology) and several other Centrally Funded Technical Institutes ( CFTI’s).
