Rich in Deeds can help any person identify charities they are interested in learning more about or interested in helping as either a volunteer or donor or both. People can use the website to look for service opportunities in a wide range of categories such as Education, Health & Human Service, Military and Veterans Support agencies, the Arts, Community Service organizations, and many more.
Charities have their own pages where they can educate the public about their mission and where donors and volunteers can sign up to help, make a gift or buy tickets for an event.
Most charities who have their own websites gain new friends and donors who generally are looking for them specifically. Rich in Deeds is a search tool that can help ordinary folks find something new that appeals to their volunteer interests.
Philanthropically-active donors and volunteers can use Rich in Deeds to:
• Find charities in their communities or across the country that engages their interests,
• keep track of their volunteer hours at each of their charities,
• generate their own personal donation report of where and how they’ve supported their favorite causes, all in one convenient place.
Corporate Responsibility Officers can search for volunteer opportunities in their community or across the nation wherever they have regional facilities and find placement for their executives and others as volunteer leaders.
Rich in Deeds’ first stage launch for charities to join is set for February 10th until April 6th.
Non-profits from local Little Leagues, to major Universities to national Charities who join for their first year will have the two months of the soft launch period free.
A more formal launch for the general public will begin on April 7th.
