Puja and puja decoration items are an integral part of any Hindu festival or auspicious ceremony like Holi, Diwali, Dussehra, Navratri or a Hindu wedding. Essential puja decoration items for kanha ji
• Kanha ji singhasan
The idol of Shri Krishna should be kept on a clean cloth preferably yellow or red. The cloth can be decorated and placed on the singhasan
• A container to wash krishna’s feet
Fill the container with holy water and some rose petals to wash the feet of the lord
This is a holy liquid mixture made out of 5 ingredients like milk, ghee, curd, sugar and honey. This mixture is offered to the Lord as Bhog before being distributed among the devotees.
• Yellow flowers
Any Hindu festival or decoration is incomplete without the yellow flowers also known as genda. These flowers have a special importance in the pooja ceremony as well. You can sprinkle rose water of these for the extra freshness.
• Pooja samagri
Kumkun, rice, dried green grass, tikka, agarbatti with natural scent are some important elements of pooja.
• Elements for purification
Milk with some holy water is used to bathe and purify the idol of the lord Krishna before it is draped with beautiful kanha ji poshak.

Once the pooja is complete, the lord is served with sweets or Prasad. Kheer the most famous kind of sweet used to offer to the lord.
• Diya or lights
Most of the devotees prefer a mud diya and light it with cow ghee on the auspicious occasions. Some other devotees used vibrant and colorful lights to enlighten up their home and temple.
