IQzic, innovators committed to connecting the music world in more meaningful ways, have opened their music discovery platform to the general public

 
Monroe, CT – 4/6/2015 Following a successful beta period, IQzic, innovators committed to connecting the music world, have opened their Phase I music discovery platform to the general public. Phase I of the IQzic platform not only allows members to competitively discover music videos across 40 genres, but also recognizes those members who best predict music trends. The result yields well curated playlists and an organic community of influencers.

"In beta we found music fans using the platform in fun and unexpected ways. We saw a healthy balance between discoveries for communal benefit versus private exploration, affirming that motivations for finding new music differs." said Jim Hodson, Founder and FanZero of IQzic. "Knowing one's Music IQ is being calculated daily, motivates fans to scan tunes quickly using custom IQzic filters and player tools to identify emerging music worthy of attaching their name to. --It's a win-win for everyone."

Phase II of IQzic will introduce additional incentives while also allowing listeners to financially support artists early in the creation process. The novel concept of coupling artist and fan success cultivates a music ecosystem wherein relationships actually matter. "When creating IQzic, we wanted anyone who enjoys music to be able to share in its success and have something to show for it." said Hodson.
