How can you store button mushrooms?
All types of mushrooms have a brief life span. But if they are kept appropriately, one can use them for up to a week.

First, refrigerate the mushrooms. It is the primary way for storing button mushrooms. If you order mushrooms from an authorised site, they will usually come in containers. Before putting it into the freezer, transfer it into a bowl covered with wax paper.

Second, dry them. Moisture inside the mushrooms might damage them. Hence, cut them into halves and dry them in sunlight. In this process, it will stay for a longer time.

The third is canning. For storing, you can also boil the mushrooms. Mushrooms that are home-canned lower the chances of botulism.
