Soch Foods was launched by entrepreneur couple, Purvi and Rohit Pugalia. The idea behind this snack was spawned from their personal experience. While working as a stockbroker in Kolkata, Rohit found himself craving for healthy snacks during his workday.

When the couple moved to Mumbai, they first started a business of selling salads and juices as snack food for executives. At the same time, Purvi experimented with marrying taste with nutrition and hit upon the idea of Munchilicious, a delicious new snack, and breakfast option.

Soch Foods was launched by the couple with an investment of Rs. 5 lakhs from their own pockets in their home kitchen in Goregaon in 2015. Soon the company began to focus mainly on the granola snack.

Granola is a snack and breakfast food comprising seeds, nuts, oats, honey, and other sweeteners typically baked till crisp. It helps manage blood pressure, promotes weight loss, enhances energy levels, improves digestion, and lowers cholesterol levels. It can be eaten in the form of smoothies, in ice creams, with yogurt or milk, or as a plain snack.

Soch Foods began mass production of Munchilicious granola in May 2019, and production was transferred to a processing unit in the suburbs from their home kitchen.
The couple got their Granola snack tested on packaging apart from other things. All products are manufactured in an ISO 20000: 2005 unit certified by the Food Safety Management System.

The target group of the company is urban customers seeking healthy choices of lifestyle, restaurants, and hotels. The special appeal for this snack applies to those who prefer natural and organic eating, including those who wish to control the intake of trans fats, salt, and sugar in their food.

Soch Foods earned a double-digit growth rate of more than 35% in its first full year of operation. It sells 2000 to 5000 packs every month at Rs. 500 to 650 per 500 gms.
This Granola snack has seen rapid growth in the past 2 years. It is available in over 350 retail stores across the country. It has ventured into Singapore by tying up with the leading e-commerce store, Lazada.

The snack began with three variants: Dark chocolate, Dried Fruits, and Original. Later on, Purvi Pugalia created two more variants: Grain-free for vegan customers and Desi Twist to suit the Indian palate. These tasty and healthy flavors make the snack a perfect choice for satisfying late-night, mid-meal and mid-morning cravings. The driving ethos of the brand is well included in the philosophy of the company-‘All Good, Always’. This snack is nutrient-rich, wholesome, guilt-free, and gluten-free.
