Linda Ricapito, of Plymouth Meeting, Pennsylvania, a loving wife and mother, passed away tragically and suddenly from a short illness at age 61 on Tuesday, May 9th, 2023. She had just celebrated her 42nd wedding anniversary with her husband Dave, just days before she died. No one knows, not even her doctors, how she suddenly contracted necrotizing fasciitis, which is known as flesh-eating bacteria. This bacteria spreads at an extremely fast pace in the body. And in Linda’s case, she contracted sepsis as well, and it was just impossible for her to fight it.

Linda worked with children throughout her career and it was truly her life’s calling. She loved her grand dog Trunks, loved shopping with her daughter, going to Clearwater, Florida, with her husband, and loved watching her favorite TV shows “FRIENDS” and “Monk.” While she was a quiet and shy person, Linda managed to make friends wherever she went with her warmth and caring personality. To anyone who knew her, she LOVED you - even if you only met her a couple of times. She was that kind of person.

Linda's family has been left with high hospital bills, the cost of her funeral and the loss of Linda’s crucial income.
