The New Released Book “My Soul Looks Back, How I Got Over!” takes its readers back to another place in time. It is inspired by the true events and memoirs of my father, S. Morris Holloway. This book stemmed from a chapter excerpt of my book Here and Now subtitled “In My Father’s House.”

In this book, my father reflects back on his life being raised in the South and his migration to the North as a young adult. He talks about his struggles as a medical technologist, his endeavors as a Black real-estate agent, and the adversity that he faced as an African-American amateur and pro golfer. It was a pleasure and an honor to work with my father on this project. I hope that this book inspires, encourages, and incites its readers, as they read how, with prayer and endurance, you can persevere through life's challenges and learn some of life's lessons!
