Bollywood’s Mr. Perfectionist Aamir Khan has finally returned to the big screen after four years on the occasion of ‘Raksha Bandhan’. Yes, amidst trends like Boycott Aamir Khan, Boycott Lal Singh Chaddha and Boycott Bollywood, Kareena Kapoor Khan and Aamir Khan’s film ‘Lal Singh Chaddha’ has knocked in theatres. However, the film released on ‘Raksha Bandhan’ competed with Akshay Kumar’s film ‘Raksha Bandhan’. Perhaps this is the reason why Aamir Khan’s film did not get the benefit of a long weekend on the opening day and the first day of ‘Lal Singh Chaddha’ was less than ‘Thugs of Hindostan’.

Ever since the release of the teaser of ‘Lal Singh Chaddha’, people were comparing Aamir Khan’s acting in the film to ‘PK’. On social media, users were trolling Aamir Khan for insulting the gods and goddesses by posting clips of the film ‘PK’. As a result, ‘Lal Singh Chaddha’, directed by Advait Chandan, earned half as much as ‘PK’ on the first day. While Lal Singh Chaddha collected Rs 12 crore on the first day, on the other hand PK earned Rs 26.63 crore on its opening day.
