Although they all deal with meal, diet, nutrition, and healthy-eating programs, they differ in some ways.

 
Their work might be too easy for everyone, but if we come to think of it, the job that they do is not that easy. Nutritionists and Dietitian often create nutritional programs for those who need their service. The ongoing problem right now is that we tend to have a real busy lifestyle that we sometimes ignore the food that we eat. Many of us end up buying food from fast-food chains and restaurants that are often unhealthy because of the high fat, salt, preservatives, and sugar content.

Dietitians and nutritionist often prepare the food in accordance to the program that they have created for certain individual or groups of people. The reason why they are crucial in the society is because they can help us prevent any medical problems. Diet plays a vital role in people's lives. In order to move away from certain illnesses, we need to maintain healthy eating habits. Most of their programs often include low in salt diets, low in sugar, fat, and preservatives.

This diet programs are for those patients who have high-blood pressure, overweight or obese, and those who have diabetes. Being a dietitian would only mean being responsible too in your own diet, otherwise people will not believe on your programs. They are more likely to trust a dietitian or a nutritionist whom they see as physically fit and healthy. There are various types of dietitians, and they include consultant dietitians, management dietitians, community dietitians, and clinical Dietitian.

Although they all deal with meal, diet, nutrition, and healthy-eating programs, they differ in some ways. For example, a consultant dietitian does not stay on a clinic just like a clinical dietitian does. Consultant dietitians may be consulted by several companies who need their help regarding nutrition. Aside from that, they also provide other services such as budgeting, planning, and menu development.

Clinical Dietitian deal with other healthcare professionals such as doctors in the assessment of the nutritional need of a certain individual. On the other hand, those dietitians who work in communities often work with NGO's public health centers, organizations, and other groups who have the intention of providing better health and nutrition to many poor families. The management dietitian works in large companies as well as institutions. Those institutions include schools, manufacturing companies, and even in prison.
