New York Giants quarterback Eli Manning said he is not concerned about his brother Peyton’s return to the country when he faces various injuries which caused ultimate led to his benching on Sunday.

Eli Manning said, “He’ll be fine,” he added, “He’ll bounce back and hopefully get healthy. And hey, they’re in a good spot. They’re 7–2. I’d take 7–2 with one four-interception game at this point.”

Giants QB Eli Manning has never omitted a game, like his brother Peyton will do on Sunday due to partially torn plantar fascia. But Eli also suffered the injury in the 2009 season.

“Mine was a full tear,” Eli said Monday. “I don’t know what a partial tear feels like. I talked to him a little bit about it. Hopefully he’ll figure out a way to feel as good as he can and get a plan for getting back to playing the way he knows how to play.”

Peyton Manning was benched in the 2nd half of the game where the Broncos lost their second consecutive game on Sunday in a 29–13 defeat by the Kansas City Chiefs. Peyton threw four interceptions and completing only five of 20 passes for 35 yards on Sunday.

On Nov. 16, Adam Schefter reported that Peyton had a partially torn plantar fascia in his left foot like Eli played through in 2009.

ESPN Reporter Schefter said a partial tear is more pungent to play through than a full tear and Eli said about the pain from a full tear took three to four weeks to dissipate.

“It was a few weeks, probably 3-4 weeks, before the pain was away and I was able to perform a normal way and the way I’m accustomed to,” Eli said.

As Peyton Manning would not start in Week 11, the Broncos coach Gary Kubiak has announced to replace the position with Brock Osweiler against the Chicago Bears.
