Everyone dreams about having his own home someday but due to overgrowing population and sky rocketing property prices, a large number of people fail to fulfil their dreams. In order to deal with the same, Delhi Development Authority (DDA) took a major step forward.
Under the Master Plan of Delhi 2021, DDA announced the Delhi AwasYojana which will aim to provide housing facilities to the people within their financial capabilities. The scheme has been inspired by Prime Minister NarendraModi scheme Pradhan MantriAwasYojana.
With the announcement of this scheme, Delhi government also seeks to improve the housing facilities and its number in Delhi and the National Capital region. The Delhi Affordable housing scheme or the Delhi AwasYojana will provide affordable housing solutions in Delhi and the nearby areas like Gurgaon, Gr. Noida, Ghaziabad, etc. It is expected to be completed by the year 2021.
The main motive behind this DDA housing scheme is not only to provide the housing facilities under affordable rates but also to improve the quality of living. Now, you can live in Delhi in just Rs. 16.80 lakhs.
Registrations for 360 units are now available and anyone from the public, private or the government sector can apply for the same. The result of the allotment will be based on draws. Even if you fail in the draw, you can ask for the registration amount as it is totally refundable. The membership is available in the following types:-
• LIG, person can purchase a house with a total land of 38.5 Square Meter at the booking amount of Rs 11,000.
• MIG, person can purchase a house with a total land of 66.5 Square Yards at the booking amount of Rs 31,000.
• HIG, person can purchase a house with a total land of 94.2 Square Meter at the booking amount of Rs 41,000.
• Super HIG, person can purchase a house with a total land of 122.1 Square Meter at the booking amount of Rs 51,000
