The nonprofit organization is making continuous efforts to provide quality education and vocational training to the children of Mityana Town

Unfortunately, there are many underprivileged children around the globe who are deprived of basic necessities such as clean water, nutritional meals, and basic education. However, one nonprofit organization that is working hard to change that is Missions Made Possible International (MMPInternational.org).
Founded by Judy Grim, Missions Made Possible Internationalis a non-profit foundation that strives to help children in poverty-stricken areas in third world countries. Over the years, they’ve helped numerous underprivileged children turn their lives around. About ten years ago, they identified a primary school called Nabembezi Primary School in Mityana town, Uganda, which serves more than 400 children, around 25% of which are orphans. Their aim was to help the school and empower children of Mityana Town.
Speaking about the current circumstances of children living in the Mityana Town, the representative of the foundation stated: “Children in Mityana Town face several challenges, ranging from lack of food and clean water to education and adequate food. Our mission is to help them overcome those challenges and provide a better future. Judy Grim, the founder of the organization, saw the challenges of helping make education more accessible to those children, and decided to assist with the operations of the school.”
Judy Grim, along with a volunteer, Richard Dunn, is assisting the school staff to conduct classes for the children.
“We provide computer, sewing, agricultural and art classes to the students at Nabembezi Primary School in Mityana Town, Uganda. We provide additional teaching materials to assist in the teaching of math, English, and science. We hope to extend these classes to other schools in the coming year.”
“However, Missions Made Possible International also helps in different disciplines of life. We provide course materials and other essentials along with a projector, laptop computers, and an Internet connection for use with provided online learning” added the representative added further.
People living in the vicinity of the Nabembezi Primary School, until June of 2019, have only had access to unclean water, which had to be boiled before drinking, in order to prevent sickness and disease. While many locals boil the water, it still contains multiple contaminants and can often lead to diseases.
Missions Made Possible International in 2019 installed water filters for the school, eliminating the need to boil all drinking water every day for over 400 children. Parties interested in sponsoring a child or contributing to schools in Uganda can connect with the organization via their official website at MMPInternational.org.
