This press release intends to inform the readers that Mike Sved fulfills all the criteria to receive a pharmacy technician certificate.

 
First, let’s have a sneak peek through a day in the life of a Pharmacy Technician. In such a fast paced and challenging environment, a pharmacy technician deals with the customers directly. These trained technicians are expected to fulfill all the duties efficiently and effectively from the very moment they are hired.

Working directly under the supervision of a pharmacist, these technicians perform roles in various settings including hospitals, retail or community pharmacies. Thus, a pharmacy technician is a valuable source for the costumers and the patients. After all, all it demands is an aptitude for excellent customer service and attention to every minute detail.

Does anybody care if the pharmacy technicians are certified? According to a survey, majority of the people agree the fact that a standardized technician certification will increase their trust in the pharmacies. Thus, if a person satisfies some eligibility criteria, he can achieve Pharmacy Technician Certificate. He is also expected to have passing score on the Pharmacy Technician Certificate Exam. Mike Sved fulfilled all the eligibility criteria thus holding a Pharmacy Technician Certificate CPhT. He is nationally and South Carolina certified Pharmacy Technician.

Pertaining to his pharmacy technician experience, he worked in Regency Hospital Pharmacy from September 2013 to April 2014. Here, his main role was to calculate the dosages, dispensed medications, prepared labels and filled prescriptions. He also prepared intravenous medications for patients in an acute care setting. Besides, Mike stocked formulary medications in the Pyxis Med Dispense System.

Earlier, from January to March 2013, Mike Sved served in McLaren Long Term Care Pharmacy where he used unit dose, blister packaging and Opus to prepare monthly medications for patients. He started his pharmacy career from July 2012 to February 2013 as a traveling pharmacy technician. Here, he was solely responsible for providing the pharmacy services to members of the Sault Ste. Marie Tribe of Chippewa Indians.

Mike Sved completed his Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary education from Northern Michigan University, Marquette in December 1992. Besides, he also holds professional education certificate with major in social studies and minor in language arts.
