20 June. John Bell, Managing Director of Gulfsands has maintained active support of the Chaffinch Trust for many years and Gulfsands is sponsoring the Fundraising Dinner in its inaugural year, marking World Refugee Day. The event promises an unforgettable evening of elegance, philanthropy, and inspiration.
This year's Charity Fundraising Dinner will be held on 20th June at the prestigious Conrad Hotel, St James, in the heart of London. Sally Abé, the Great British Menu Finalist, has designed and prepared a special menu to mark this significant evening.
The event aims to raise vital funds to support the Chaffinch Trust's ongoing partnership with Phoenix Space's efforts to provide the world's disadvantaged and marginalized young people with cutting-edge STEM (Science,Technology,Engineering and Mathematics) education , focused on developing skills and competencies predicted to be the most needed globally in the next decade.
The keynote speaker for the evening will be Sir Alan Duncan KCMG and also in attendance will be Ben Goss OBE MVO, Chairman & Founder of the Chaffinch Trust, John Bell, CEO of Gulfsands and special advisor to ChaffinchTrust, and Alevtina Nepomniachtchikh, CEO & Founder of Phoenix Space.
The event will shed light on the current humanitarian crisis and the plight of millions of children forced from their homes and having their education disrupted. The dinner will give its guests a chance to donate funds and empower several global programs focused on raising scientific and technological literacy among the most vulnerable children and youth, giving them skills and tools to be active leaders in the development of their communities.

We focus on developing skills and competencies predicted to be the most in-demand among employers globally in the next decade to improve their life chances and future employability.

Gulfsands is an independent, public energy company, incorporated in the United Kingdom, focussed on growth in the Middle East and North Africa region. Gulfsands has a particular interest in the Syrian Arab Republic where it has held energy assets since 2003.
