Koenig Solutions, the largest offshore IT training company in India, hosted it’s Annual Book Distribution event for underprivileged students on 26th May. The company has been involved in sponsoring education for children, from marginalized families, in select regions in Delhi, for quite sometime now. The Annual Book Distribution event is held for distributing course books and other educational necessities for these children.

Talking about the initiative, the official spokesperson was quoted saying, “We at Koenig, believe that the world can be made a better place through education. Therefore, this project is taken with utmost sincerity, seriousness and passion. Besides, there are a large number of children in our country who have quit school because of financial constraints. And, through this initiative, we strive to help some of them study and become promising individuals of our country.”

Koenig distributed free school course books to 400 needy and poor students in Delhi on 26th April 2015. This project is a part of the company’s CSR initiative, which it has been practicing religiously since 2006. Shakurpur, Saipur, Haiderpur and Shalamar are the four regions in Delhi that Koenig has adopted to offer their support for education, for the underprivileged. Honoring the event was the Mr. Rohit Aggarwal, Founder and CEO of Koenig, Koenig trainers, school principles, international students, and the education and media community.

Adding to his comments, the official spokesperson also mentioned, “Realizing how many children quit school because of financial constraints, we’ve tried to take a small step towards addressing this concern. In fact, this is why we’ve named this project Koshish!”
