They are still one of the most used machines. One advantage of mechanical spring machines over computerized spring machines is that they are sturdier than the latter. Computer machines are more prone to technical improbabilities but since the mechanical spring machines use more of the physical labour, they are lesser prone to breaking down.
However, both the machine kinds enjoy their particular sets of advantages and disadvantages. Both machines are equally important to the world as both of them provide the same results. Indeed they are indispensible in the present day world.
