The training school in Coquitlam offers Red Cross certified first aid training courses to help residents tackle emergencies confidently.

Sherwood Ave, Coquitlam, Canada: In a recent survey, about 68% of Canadians admitted that they could recognize emergency symptoms like cardiac arrest or choke. Less than half of them believed that they could provide necessary first aid to these ailing victims. This fact highlights the importance of first aid training in our daily lives. While 98% of the Canadian population perceives first aid training as essential, less than 15% have the official training in the last three years.

Providing first aid training to Coquitlam's community for over ten years, Metro Safety Training is a recognized name in offering first aid training and workplace safety courses in BC. Their first aid training courses include basic knowledge of doing CPR, managing soft tissue injury, controlling airway breathing, and providing emergency first aid.

The occupational level 1 first aid training course is about 8 hours long, where people get hands-on training on life-saving emergency tactics useful for the workplace. Students over 16 years of age and physically fit are eligible for this training program.

Talking about their first aid training courses, the training school’s spokesperson said, “Emergencies can occur anytime. Sometimes, waiting for a doctor or medical aid isn’t a choice. Knowing basic first aid techniques can prevent a medical situation from getting worse. That’s why we’ve divided our occupational first aid training courses into three levels: 1, 2, and 3. Starting from the basics and covering the most crucial aspects in the final level. You can choose to enroll in the basics and then the complex ones later.”

Metro Safety Training's standard first aid course covers everything from responding and handling cardiac arrests to dealing with head, spine, bone, and joint injuries. The course is offered at an affordable price of $140, and successful candidates would get a three-year certification by Red Cross.

"The first aid courses prepare you to act quickly and efficiently in emergency crisis. You're empowered and confident in your actions. Sign up today!" another spokesperson added.

The company also offers a day-long emergency first aid training course at an $89 competitive price. It improves a person's safety awareness and quality of life.
