Coquitlam, BC, Canada–23-Sep-2022: Metro Safety Training is one of Canada's leading training centers dedicated to providing essential safety training courses. Since its establishment in 2008, the company has been dedicated to offering first aid training to employees working in high-risk industries to protect themselves and their colleagues from hazardous situations while on the job.

Metro Safety Training is now offering one of the most popular training courses of the Red Cross, emergency first aid training. The course is offered in five locations, including Surrey, Richmond, Delta, Vancouver, and Coquitlam. The emergency first aid course also includes automated external defibrillator training and is only one day long.

During the emergency first aid training, the candidates will learn how to respond to a medical emergency, work the EMS system, respond to airway, breathing, and circulation emergencies, and perform first aid for cardiac and respiratory arrest.

Metro Safety Training offers a Red Cross certification valid for up to 3 years after successfully completing the course. The certificate will also mention that the trainee has completed AED and CPR Level C.

When discussing emergency first aid training, a spokesperson mentioned, "Our courses are not customized for interns or medical professionals, but rather they're made for workers who need this basic tool to survive their daily life. We believe prevention is better than cure; that's why we developed this emergency first aid training course to equip employers with the knowledgement and training they need to save a life if needed."

In addition to emergency first aid training, Metro Safety Training offers occupational first aid training programs for three levels, including Level 1, Level 2, and Level 3. They also provide theoretical and practical training to forklift operators working on construction sites.
